The product has truly been a blessing.

Also, I'm glad that you brought up the Costco point. From what I've read, it's definitely not "apples to apples"! Keep in mind that there are vast differences in the level of quality and the production practices involved in the making of Juice Plus+ as compared to the "copycats". Sort of like comparing a Yugo with a Cadillac. They are both cars, but ...

More importantly, the clinical validation that has come out of the research is exclusive to Juice Plus+ - not fruit and vegetable supplements in general. Here is an excellent web document that fully details the impressive findings that have come out of the clinical research:

http://www.scottcofer.com/j...

Thanks for commenting!

Re: Kaizen Principles – The Master Key to Personal Development

Thanks for the kudos, and glad I could shine a different light on the kaizen principles for you Kyle!

Best,
Scott

Re: Juice Plus+ – Fruits and Vegetables Made Simple

Good to know that "Mr. Picky" likes the children's version. We have a younger daughter who is picky about vitamins. So much so that I have both girls take an Airbourne with me in the a.m. Coscto has a Juice Plus-like product for fruits and veggies too.

Re: Kaizen Principles – The Master Key to Personal Development

Nice post. I came across your blog while searching out answers to coursework for a PM class I am taking. The coursework only shows how Kaizen is applied to PM and corporations. You showed me the self improvement side which I find very interesting. Keep up the nice work, I look forward to exploring your blog.

Re: About

Thank you! It's much easier to point out the flaws in others than to take a good, hard look in the mirror at ourselves.

Not surprisingly, our world never improves when we constantly criticize and/or attempt to change others ... it only improves to the degree in which we improve ourselves.

Best,
Scott

Re: How to Change the World

You got it completely right. In order to change the world you need to change yourself.

Why are we so hardwired to thinking we can change others? If I think about most of the arguments I've ever heard it really was just a back and forth discussion about what the other person should do.

Wouldn't it be nice instead to have a situation where people went back and forth discussing what they could do better?

Re: How to Change the World

Thanks for this Scott.

I work in the professional assessment industry and on occasion someone will look at their assessment and ask me, "How do I get someone to adapt to my behavior style?"

It's amazing how natural it is for us to think about how great it is to change others, when the real power comes from being the one who makes the changes.

Great visiting, hope to be by often.

Re: Simple Ways to Greatness – A Practical Guide

I always do this with to-do lists, which I'm a big believer in. For me, whenever I decide on starting a big task, the first thing to do is break it down into smaller tasks, and then smaller still until everything I want to do can be done in just a few minutes or hours. Then it's not so hard to get started, since I figure each step only takes a little bit of my time.

Re: How to Change the World

Yes, Robert. HabitForge is a great tool. I'm right in line with you, my friend ... simplification is #1 on my list as well. I've gotten to the point where it's extremely difficult to "get everything done", and the only solution I could come up with was to streamline and de-clutter my life and daily schedule. The house? Now that's a project in and of itself!

Thanks for stopping by ... much appreciated.

- Scott

Re: New Year’s Resolutions 2011

My resolution for this year is boiled down to simplification in every aspect of my life. As much as I like technology, the first thing I did was to get rid of my iPhone and go with a regular phone again. I saved a lot of money on my monthly bill and the quality of the new phone is actually better than the iPhone. I still use the iPhone and it's apps whenever I'm around wi-fi. Clutter around my house is the second thing I'm attacking. Thanks for the heads up about HabitForge.

Re: Quote of the Day – Continuous Personal Growth

Thanks Ana! Kind words, and much appreciated coming from a blogging "pro" such as yourself. I'm really trying to simplify things and concentrate primarily on providing helpful content and a limited number of quality resources.
